Delhi
University has again extended the date of DU Exam 2020. Delhi University said
in High Court, now DU Exam 2020 will be after 15 August.
Delhi University DU was attacked on two sides on the issue of online open book exam
in Delhi high court on Wednesday:-
At first,
the High Court pulled up the university saying that it was repeatedly
postponing it without fixing a fixed date for the final year exams of the
undergraduate course.
The second
attack came on behalf of the students, who accused the university of building.
Expressing displeasure over the university's stand, the High Court said that it
was playing with the lives of the students.
Du argued in
court that he has decided to postpone the examinations starting July 10 and to
be held after August 15 because of Corona. The court expressed disappointment
over the university's decision and said, ‘See how you are messing with
children's lives. The university did not even put the right thing in front of
the court about preparing for the online exam. You are saying that you are
ready, while your minutes of meeting are the opposite’.
The court
noted that du had earlier postponed the exam starting on 1 July. Again, we are
talking about starting the exam after August.
