Agniveers Graduation Course from IGNOU.

The Ministry of Education has decided to start a 3-year skill-based bachelor's degree program for AgniVeers.

For this course, there will be an agreement of the three armies with IGNOU. IGNOU will design and run this course. AgniVeers will get 50% credit for their graduation degree from skill training (technical-non technical). Another 50% credit will be given through different subjects. Under this, Agniveer will get a graduation certificate in the first year of service. At the end of his second year he will get a graduation diploma and at the end of the third year he will get a degree. This degree will also be valid in the country.

This graduation degree which is being done by IGNOU will be valid for employment not only in India but also abroad.

When and how many people will be recruited in Agneepath?

Army's recruitment rally will be done in 90 days. After about 180 days, Agniveer of the first phase will reach the Recruitment Center and in 1 year Agniveer will be part of the battalion of the Indian Army. This means that the training of AgniVeer will be for 1 year. In the first year, 40,000 recruitment will be done for Agni Veer in the Army. 3000 recruitment will be taken out in Navy and about 3500 Agni Veers will be recruited in Air Force.

A total of 46500 Agni Veers will be recruited in the first year.
