Even during the lock down, the Central Board of Direct Taxes claimed to have settled GST claims of ₹ 11052 crore in the last 47 days.

CBIC said in a Twitter message on Monday that it is committed to ensuring cash flow to GST taxpayers, especially the MSME sector, during lockDown.The board stated that 29,230 refund claims worth ₹ 11052 were settled between 8 and 24 April.

CBIE has also written that these claims were settled while working from home. The Finance Ministry had said on 8 April that all pending GST refunds would be disposed of quickly to provide relief during covid 19.
