HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Makes Big Announcement For University Students

In this period of 2020, where the country is fighting an epidemic like Corona, another big challenge has arisen in front of us. Now our college students have a big problem for them, how will they give their year exam now.

To solve this problem, our HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has been discussing for a long time how the year of the students will be the exam. Meanwhile, he has taken many suggestions to solve this problem from the state government, from the teacher, from the parents, from the students and from many more people. After considering everyone's suggestion, HRD minister has taken a very important and big decision , he has made a big announcement on this problem.

Dr. ramesh pokhriyal announced for university students :

The HRD Minister announced that from July 1, all college students will have final year and final semester exams. There will be no exams for 1st year and 2nd year students. Without giving exams, we will promote these students for the next year.

If the risk of Covid-19 disease increases in the month of July, then we will remove the exam date from July 1 and extend it further.

If the effect of this disease Covid-19 is more in any area, then we will extend the exam in that area further.

While giving interview to NDTV,  HRD Minister also said that - Students are the future of our country, so no compromise will be made about their safety, if an area is in the red zone then the university can take some good steps on its own.

1st year and 2nd year students will be promoted based on previous year exam results and Internal assessment marks :

The HRD Minister said that - 1st year and 2nd year students will be passed without exam. We will be given marks on the basis of marks obtained in the previous year's examination and marks obtained in this year's internal assessment.

DU : New Way of Taking Exams after 2 years
