DU Admission 2020 : Apply For The UG and PG Courses

Delhi University has opened the registration link for Admission of (Under-Graduate) UG and (Post-Graduate)PG. Now new students can take admission in Delhi University.

The registration link for UG and PG Admission was activated on 20 June 2020 by Delhi University.

Delhi University has given the last date of registration link on 4 July 2020.

That's why students have to submit their admission form with their fees before the 4th July.

Delhi University has brought some relief for the students in the new session this year. If the stream has to be changed for B.A, the DU administration says that the numbers in the cutoff marks will not be deducted. The DU administration will issue a notification on this new decision of DU in a few days.

This time in DU, Standard Mathematics and Applied Mathematics will be considered equal in the Best for Subject formula for B.COM (Hons) and Economics (Hons) 2.5% cutoff marks will not be deducted for taking applied mathematics for admission to these courses. It is not necessary to take Philosophy and Social Science in the Best of 4 subjects for Philosophy (Hons) and Social Science (Hons) Both these proposals have recently been approved by the Standing Committee.

Important Instructions For Fill the Delhi University Admission Form 2020:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India. (Applicants seeking admission under the Foreign Students’ category to apply separately on Foreign Students’ Registry website, http://fsr.du.ac.in.)

• The applicant should have passed the Class XII examination of any Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

• The applicant should have “passed” individually in each subject required (including practicals if any) for calculating merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in.

• Applicants with gap year(s) will not be at any disadvantage for the purpose of admission to undergraduate courses.

• Applicants under the UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories are eligible to seek admission based on both merit and entrance tests to courses in all Colleges/ Departments (except Minority Colleges, wherein some categories may not be applicable).

• Applicants from the Sikh and Christian minorities may also seek admission under the minority quota in the Minority Colleges of the University.

• The following categories are designated “supernumerary”:

i) PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities);

ii) CW (Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces including Para-Military);

iii) KM (Kashmiri Migrants);

iv) Prime Minister’s special scholarship for Jammu and Kashmir;

v) SS (Nominated Sikkimese Students);

vi) WQ (Ward Quota);

vii) ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities);

viii) Sports.

Note: Categories i –viii above are applicable to courses where admission is based on merit. For courses where admission is based on entrance tests, only categories i and ii above are applicable.

DU : New Way of Taking Exams after 2 years

 More than 907 percent students appeared in the physical mode exam being conducted in Delhi University (D­­­U) on the first day.  DU students Exams 2022  On Wednesday, offline exams of second and third year students were held in many colleges.  After 2 years, sitting in the class room, gave the student name in subject exam.  The official said that there was 97.5% attendance in the examination of 40 subjects conducted in the morning shift. DU Exam 2020: Delhi University Has Again Extended the Date

Delhi University has again extended the date of DU Exam 2020 . Delhi University said in High Court, now DU Exam 2020 will be after 15 August.
