Delhi
University has Postpone its OBE (Open Book Examination) online exams, given the
worsening situation of Covid-19 in the country.
Delhi
University has postponed all open book examination of UG (Under Graduate) and
PG (Post Graduate) for 10 days.
These exams
for the final year, semester, and term were scheduled to begin on July 1. But
now Delhi University has decided to extend the date.
The DU
Examination Branch has issued a notification to extend the date of
examinations.

It said that
the new Date sheet of UG and PG programs, including the final year / semester
of the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non Collegiate Women's Education Board
(NCWEB), will be released on July 3.

Now online
open book exam will start from 10 July.
Dean of DU
Examination Dr. Vinay Gupta has issued a notification saying that
examinations are being postponed due to the deteriorating condition of Covid-19.
In this
situation, it would be difficult for all the stakeholders especially the
students to be involved in all the activities of the exam. The UGC committee
has recommended that final year students should not take examinations.
New UGC
guidelines regarding exams will be released soon. To understand the new
examination system, Delhi University will now start the Mock test process from
4 July.
Delhi
University will soon issue separate guidelines for Mock test.
Students who
need internet or computer facility will get this facility in the CSC centers according to the new Date sheet.

The rest of
the guidelines regarding online open book examination will remain the same.
Exam will be of 2 hours.
